Floral Sleeved Kuripe

This floral print sleeve is woven with toho glass seed beads. The kuripe is made by hand with chonta wood in Peru. In collaboration with Mwanvua Jewelry (mwanvua.bigcartel.com).

A kuripe is a self-administrator for hapé (sacred snuff). The long side is inserted into one nostril and the shorter side goes at the tip of the mouth. Blow gently, going from the left nostril, then to the right.
