Sky Blue Sleeved Kuripe

Meticulously beaded sleeve in sky blue. Woven with miyuki delica glass seed beads. In collaboration with Mwanvua Jewelry (mwanvua.bigcartel.com).

This kuripe is made by hand in Peru with rosewood (also known as palisangre), a sacred wood from the South American amazon used for healing. 

A kuripe is a self-administrator for hapé (sacred snuff). The long side is inserted into one nostril and the shorter side goes at the tip of the mouth. Blow gently, going from the left nostril, then to the right.
